What Makes It Different

No cookie-cutter curriculum

Every lesson plan is built around your goals and the music you actually want to play.

Taught by a working musician

24 years playing, 11 years teaching full-time. Stevie gigs and records, so what he teaches is what he actually does for a living, not a textbook method.

Built around your music

Want to learn Wonderwall? Great. Want to learn literally anything else? Even better. Lessons follow what you want to play, not a fixed songbook.

Notes after every lesson

What you covered, plus any diagrams or charts you'll want to practice with, sent by email so nothing gets forgotten between sessions.

Real screen-sharing setup

Own equipment, piano, and visual aids built specifically for teaching over Zoom. It holds up just as well as sitting across from him in a room.

FAQ

Questions people actually ask

Do you teach students outside of Texas?

Yes. Every lesson happens online over Zoom, so students join from every state. Austin's just where Stevie happens to live. If you've got a guitar and a Wi-Fi connection, you're close enough.

What skill levels do you teach?

All of them. Some students are holding a guitar for the very first time during the intro lesson. Others have played for years and just need a shove in a new direction.

What do I need for an online lesson?

A guitar, a device with a camera, and a decent internet connection. Stevie brings the equipment, the visual aids, and the screen-sharing setup on his end.

What do lessons cost?

$45 for 30 minutes, $60 for 45 minutes, $75 for a full hour. One-on-one, online, no packages or contracts required.
